This conference discusses advances in theoretical and empirical research on financial intermediation. Topics include but are not limited to banking, non-bank financial institutions, macro-finance, household finance, and fintech.

We aim to attract leading researchers from academia and policy institutions as well as early career researchers in the field. The conference also features poster sessions and ample time for discussion and collaboration.

The Study Center Gerzensee, Foundation of the Swiss National Bank, opened its doors in 1986 to serve as an international training and conference center for economists and central bank staff. Based at an old manor in the heart of Switzerland, the Center features state-of-the-art seminar rooms as well as a fully equipped hotel, restaurant and sports facilities. All participants will be kindly hosted in Hotel Schloss Gerzensee at the conference venue. Reservation inquiries will be sent out in advance to all participants.
